Acrefine Seismic Rubber Isolator

Steel Housed and Seismically Restrained

Acrefine ASI-R type seismically restrained rubber mounts are designed to limit in all directions any equipment movement caused by external forces such as seismic events. The isolator has steel housing with four bolt-down holes. The equipment is bolted directly to the steel insert embedded in the rubber and provides all-directional restraint for lateral and vertical loads.

Rubber elements are grouped by their ‘Shore A Hardness’ which corresponds to different load ranges. There are three groups, each colour marked for easy identification.

Key Features
  • Steel housing that limits equipment movement in all directions
  • Load capacity of up to 1222 kg (2695 lb)
  • Suitable for seismic applications
  • Field interchangeable rubber insert
  • E-Coated housing for superior corrosion protection
  • Can be bolted or welded in place
  • Three groups 40, 50, 60 Shore A Hardness

Acrefine ASI-R seismically restrained rubber mounts should be used for isolating high frequency vibrations. They are ideal for mechanical equipment such as pumps, centrifugal fans, vent sets and low pressure packaged air-handling units.

ASI-R type seismically restrained rubber mounts are available with up to 5 mm (3/16″) deflection and load capacity of up to 1222 kg (2695 lb). For higher load capacities please contact us.
