Steel Housed Spring & Rubber Vibration Isolation Hanger
Acrefine AH-C type vibration isolation hangers are designed to minimize vibration and noise transmission from suspended equipment and piping. The hangers have a welded steel housing. The spring housing is designed to allow rod misalignment of up to 30º in any direction.
Vibration isolation is achieved by free-standing laterally-stable steel springs and a rubber-in-shear insert. Springs are designed with 50% overload capacity and the lateral spring stiffness is greater than the vertical stiffness to assure seismic stability. The rubber element is loaded under shear which allows for increased strain and deterioration is minimized. All springs and rubber inserts are colour coded for easy identification.
AH-C type hangers are supplied with a coupling nut for easy installation. If required the springs can be preloaded to save valuable installation time.
Acrefine AH-C type vibration isolation hangers are suitable for suspended mechanical equipment such as in-line fans, exhaust fans and cabinet fans. These hangers are also used on piping and ductwork which is in close proximity to mechanical equipment. Rubber insert ensures that high frequency noise is minimized, so combined isolators provide superior performance.
AH-C type vibration isolation hangers are available with 25 mm (1″) or 50 mm (2″) deflection springs and with rubber elements of up to 13 mm (1/2″) deflection as standard. The load range is from 7 kg (15 lb) to 1140 kg (2514 lb). For higher deflection or load capacities please contact us.
